Who Can Participate

The Competition is in two categories

1. Students below 13 years

2. Students 13 years and above

Story Categories

Any of the following categories

Action/Thriller Adventure
Bed-time Bravery
Crime Satire
Ghost/Spooky Horror
Humour/Comedy Inspirational
Moral Mystery
Patriotism Personal
Fantasy/Imagination Science Fiction
Spy/Detective Tragedy

Elements of the Story Can Be

Theme-centric : The goal of the story is to impart a lesson or message

Character-centric : The main focus is the character of the story

World-centric: The main focus is the location at which the story takes place

Plot-centric: There is a defined goal "what happens" in mind from the start of the story

Terms and Conditions

Typed in double space on single side of sheets either in English or Hindi

The story must be original and unpublished

Each story must provide the name of the child, photograph, age, class and section, teacher's name, school name and address, contact number and residential address

A child can send any number of entries.

Participation certificate to all

Selected stories will be published in a book by the publisher and they will be provided five story books as gifts and a copy of the published book
